GippSport is one of nine Regional Sports Assemblies that formulate the Regional Sports Network Victoria (RSNV).
These Regional Sports Assemblies are working together to bring Sportslink to regional Victoria with the support of VicHealth and the Department of Planning & Community Development. | |

| Who is GippSport? | | GippSport is the Regional Sports Assembly (RSA) for Gippsland. GippSport is an Incorporated not-for-profit organisation that was established in 1992.
In 2004, GippSport (Central Gippsland Regional Sports Assembly) and Eastern Leisure Networks (Eastern Gippsland Regional Sports Assembly) were amalgamated to improve the organisations capacity to deliver across all of Gippsland.
There are six local government areas in Gippsland - Baw Baw, Bass Coast, East Gippsland, Latrobe, South Gippsland and Wellington. GippSport services this region from offices located in Wonthaggi, Sale, Bairnsdale and Newborough.
GippSport focuses on
* supporting grassroots sport & recreation
* encouraging participation in active recreation
* encouraging access to all
* creating welcoming & inclusive clubs
* promoting health through sport.
GippSport manages and operates the Participation in Community Sport and Active Recreation (VicHealth), Supporting Country Sport (DPCD), Access for All Abilities (DPCD), Good Sports (ADF) and Central Gippsland Tennis Development programs to achieve these aims.
