Add your club, organisation or activity
Registering on Sportslink is easy and should take no more than 10 minutes.

Organisations and Clubs must register on regional pages websites and not from this main website - sportslink.org.au

First, choose your region from the map or select regions from the menu.

Second, locate the “ACTIVITY SEARCH” box in the middle of the page.

Third, ensure your club or organisation is only registered once on Sportslink. To confirm, try searching the directory, preferably through the “Part of Name” option for your club or organisation name.

Fourth, be prepared by having all your details ready and knowing what activities and contacts you need to add.

Fifth, choose a username and password suitable for your club or organisation. The username and password will be used to log in and update information as required. Usernames and passwords may need to be shared with 2 or 3 people in your club or organisation to ensure they can access and update information. Don’t panic if you forget your password as you can request a new one at any time.

Sixth, click on the “Add your Activity” Menu. First time users will need to register their organisation while returning visitors can log on with their username and passwords.

Finally follow the prompts and add your information as required. You must follow through each of the four tabbed pages before finally agreeing to submit the information.

Entries and changes should appear on the directory within 48 hours.

Tips to get the most out of sportslink
Regional Sports Network Victoria trusts that Sportslink will become a valuable tool in promoting sporting clubs and physical activity in regional Victoria, but to ensure this happens we need your help!

Keeping information up to date!

Keeping your entry up to date is important to ensure people have the most relevant information available to them. If you develop a new program or plan a come and try day, please update this information.

Logging on is easy with your username and password and if you lose either you can request a new one using your email address.

Adding more than 1 activity

Sportslink has been designed to allow organisations to add multiple activities. When site visitors search, they will find your organisation under each of your listed activities. Add as many activities as you like!

Organisation News & Description

Please fill in and use these sections as way of ensuring people know what your organisation does and any information that will make it easier for them to join your activities, for example when are activities held, who is welcome etc.

Contacts

Please enter as many contacts as you can. This is important as it allows people to access the right person for the right question.

This is your chance to make it easy for the community to phone or email the right person the first time, rather than getting on the merry-go-round that happens at many organisations.

Other Features (Calendar, Newsletters etc.)
Regional websites and pages are managed by the local RSA and as a result the features offered may vary from region to region.

Calendar

Many sites will feature a calendar to promote physical activities, come and try days, community sports days as well as club workshops and training.

Some regions will allow visitors to the website to add their own activities and events provided they meets the broad guideline of promoting physical activity and that they are welcoming and inclusive of all community members.

Newsletters

All RSA's distribute newsletters and many of these will be linked to Sportslink. Website visitors should be able view the newsletters and may even be able to subscribe subscribe to the email list.
