East Gippsland Sports Forum

On Thursday 12 April 2012, a unique opportunity will be available for sporting clubs operating within the East Gippsland Shire. A free sports forum will be held at the Lakes Entrance Mechanics Hall from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. A variety of organisations operating within the local area will provide a snapshot of what is available to assist with the growth and sustainability of local community sporting clubs.

Sideline Help Course a Big Hit

Provider: Australian Govt Climate Change & Energy Efficiency.
Funding range Min: $50,000

To support a range of local councils and community organisations increase the energy efficiency of different types of non-residential council and community-use buildings, facilities and lighting

Mixed Netball - Churchill

Umpire_Whistle.jpgLatrobe Leisure Churchill is once again preparing for Monash Mixed Netball which begins 19th March. We are in need of umpires for the semester which will run for 10 weeks. Games begin @ 6:45pm on a Monday night and continue until 9pm. Each umpire will be umpiring for 2-3 games per night and receive $15 per game. You do not need to be a certified umpire. This is social sport so is a very relaxed competition.
