Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR) in partnership with GippSport will be hosting a liquor licence forum, to be held at the Traralgon Football Netball Club on Wednesday 23 May.

With the winter sports well under way for season 2012, now is a good time to remind clubs of their responsibility and requirements regarding their liquor licence.

“This is a great opportunity for clubs to come a long and get a refresher about understanding their roles and responsibility that come with having a liquor licence,” said Chris Stanlake GippSport.

“The forum is designed to increase awareness and assist clubs on how to conduct the right way about running their liquor licence,” Mr Stanlake added.

Topics that will be covered in the forum are-

  • Understanding your Liquor licence

  • Club rules

  • Licensed areas - Red line plan

  • Record keeping

  • RSA requirements

  • Legal & moral obligations

  • Managing Underage patrons
