News>One Stop Shop For Club Administrators
Club Help, the new FREE resource for volunteers in sport and recreation clubs is now available across Victoria. The website was launched on Monday 18 June 2012. GippSport is excited to be part of this wonderful development.

| Club Help is an initiative of Regional Sports Network Victoria (RSNV), driven by Leisure Networks with the support from the Department of Planning and Community Development. It is certainly an exciting time for grassroots sporting clubs. The tool contains loads of information, practical ready-to-use resources and links that support club volunteers. Topics covered on the website include: Volunteers; Governance; Fundraising; Welcoming Everyone; Membership; Healthy Clubs; Marketing and Running Events. Each section provides information, templates and links to other relevant sites.
GippSport Executive Officer Barry Switzer strongly encourages club members to have a look at the site. “The website provides a wealth of valuable information on all aspects of club life and should reduce the amount of research club volunteers need to do to find important information,” he said.
Future developments include interactive tools for clubs to complete an assessment about their club, submit it and then receive a report in reply outlining ideas for improvement.
“We are very aware that community sporting club administrators are often fully stretched to meet all of the demands placed upon them. This tool will be of great assistance especially for those who are taking on executive roles within their club. I also encourage clubs to remember that GippSport staff based across the Gippsland Region are also available to assist clubs as they face the challenges of remaining sustainable and successful,” concluded Mr Switzer.
The website can be accessed through www.clubhelp.org.au
